I think that when reading the Old Testament the only thing harder than keeping track of all the kings of Judah and Israel is to keep track of the prophets – when and where they were active. The present arrangement of the prophetic books in the Bible starting roughly with the longest ones and working down to the “minor” prophets, is of little help in this regard. So I have compiled the rough guide below from several evangelical sources which may be of help in that regard.
