The Last Supper

Thirteen has been considered an unlucky number of people to have seated for dinner ever since the Last Supper. Although this dinner preceded and presaged Christ's crucifixion, that event could not even remotely be called an unlucky one for humanity.

The placement of the "twelve apostles" was determined randomly using the chance technique of throwing the circles into the air and gluing them where they landed. One fell apart from the others and became the representation of Judas, who left the supper and proceeded into the darkness.  The small reproduction of DaVinci's Last Supper found on each of the "apostles" came from a collection of old Sunday school stickers found among my father's belongings after he died.
