Living Water

John 4 contains the interesting story of Jesus' encounter with a Samaritan woman at a well. Jesus asked her for a drink of water and, in return, told her that he had the power to give her living water so that she would never be thirsty again. As usual with Jesus' audiences in the Gospel accounts, she took him literally and failed to comprehend the spiritual meaning of his words.

The construction below was made using a collection of metal sewing machine attachments and the wooden box that they came in.
