Most of us would have to admit that the Book of Leviticus does not exactly make the most interesting light reading. Nevertheless it is an important part of the Bible, and so our Sunday school class decided to study it for one semester. In coming up with a course outline, I attempted to make it a little more interesting and applicable by pairing up sections of Leviticus with pertinent teachings of Jesus found mainly in the Sermon on the Mount. It may prove useful to you in demonstrating not only the continuity of Scripture, but also the way in which Jesus dealt with these seemingly obscure and archaic teachings.
